TLW-SA Attracts Media Interest Yet Again

A member of the TLW-SA team was invited as a debater on the SABC 1 youth show called "The Chatroom". The topic given was "Are one-night stands okay?"

Armed with hard hitting information from various sources including Doctors for Life, this TLW-er got to the studio and was introduced to her debate partner. Friendly rivalry was established with the opposing team, and the debate began. It was soon realized by all in the studio that the tiny minority that supported one-night stands was outnumbered both in opposition and solid debating reasons. One-night stands were proved to be deceptive, destructive and a powerful force in the breakdown of the family - the backbone of society. Once again the youth represented of SA proved that abstinence is far more popular than the media allow.

This programme's tentative airing date is Sunday, 22 February 2004 at 10 am. At the end of the show, the viewing audience will be given the opportunity to vote for the best debating team. If you are able to do so, vote for abstinence and let's show the world that we still have moral values and a tough will to go against the expected. The number to dial will be given at the end of the show.
