SA YOUTH WANT TO START A NEW REVOLUTION

 Another Youth Day dawns for over 330 000 young South Africans to confirm their right to start a new revolution.

The age of the Sexual Revolution of the 60’s is still running its long and exacting course. And the consequences are not cheap. STD’s, emotional problems, teen pregnancies, HIV-AIDS all still take their terrible toll on the youth who have been fed the “Free Love” and “Safer Sex” way of life. The death knell has rung for too many of our young people. It’s time for a change. It’s time for the youth of today to stand up for their right to say “No” to what they’ve been led to believe about their sexuality.

True Love Waits – South Africa is determined to play a big part in the Abstinence Revolution that is sweeping through the world. We will be the new generation that stands for our right to be trusted; to be proud of our purity; to live without fear of STD’s, unwanted pregnancies and HIV-AIDS. And that is why we strongly support bold ventures such as the Abstinence Walk 2004, organised by the Hope Centre of the Durban Christian Centre. We are proud to choose what’s best. We choose to exercise self-control in our sexuality and we encourage other young people to join up – or be left behind.
