Condom cover-up: no such thing as ‘safe sex’
In a special scientific review led by HHS' National Institutes of Health, it was found that there is insufficient evidence to determine the effectiveness of condoms in use for preventing most sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
"We now know that the CDC has had a scientific report in its possession for over a year which demonstrates convincingly that most sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are not prevented by condom usage," Focus on the Family President Dr. James C. Dobson said. "And yet, the CDC wouldn’t release that report until a copy was leaked and the agency was forced to admit that it existed."
In his national daily broadcast, on 27 July 2001, Dobson joined with groups representing 10,000 physicians in charging the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with covering up vital information on the ineffectiveness of condoms.
